Square Enix has recently announced the release date for the Just Cause 2 demo. This much awaited demo will hit Xbox Live, PSN and Steam starting on March 4th (next week), while the full version of the game will be out on March 26th. [VG247]
Check out the latest trailer from Square Enix’s upcoming sandbox style action video game ‘Just Cause 2′. The game is currently under development by Swedish developer Avalanche Studios and Eidos Interactive, and will be released on March 23rd for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The PlayStation 3 version of Just Cause 2 will feature a video capture mode, allowing players to record and upload gameplay clips straight to YouTube, Square Enix said Friday.
The Xbox 360 version of the game won’t support this feature. Consider that a demerit against 360 in the increasingly close contest between Sony and Microsoft.

Avalanche Studios have released the second dev diary for their long overdue Just Cause 2, this time introducing us to the island of Panau (the first diary covered vertical gameplay). With its 1000+ square kilometers (400 square miles), five different climate zones and a seemingly endless amount of cars/boats/planes/you name it to get creative with, JC2 seems to be shaping up to be the open-world game to beat.
