BioWare is preparing to release the first DLC pack for Mass Effect 2. Known as the Kasumi’s Stolen Memory, this add-on content will include a new character named Kasumi, a new weapon and a new Achievement. The pack itself is scheduled to be released on April 6th for both Xbox 360 and PC platforms, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Joystiq]
The OnLive Cloud Gaming platform will be launched on June 17th, 2010. Using this gaming system, the games are actually run from OnLive server, similar to cloud computing so you will be able to buy or rent high-end games such as “Mass Effect 2″ with an older or less powerful computer and Mac without owning such consoles as the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3. Sega is set to release the first DLC pack for Aliens vs. Predator entitled Swarm Map Pack. This add-on content will offer four new multiplayer maps, with two for various online modes and two for Survivor. The pack itself will become available on March 18th for $8 via PlayStation Network or 570 MS points via Xbox LIVE Marketplace. [VG247]
Disney has rolled out a brief trailer for Tron Legacy, the Joseph Kosinski-directed sequel to the 1982 computer generated landmark film Tron. Walt Disney Pictures announced that Tron Legacy will appear in theaters on December 17, 2010. Meanwhile, the Tron Evolution video game is set for release in Winter 2010. According to The Wall Street Journal, Sony will launch a new smartphone that is capable of downloading and playing PlayStation games later this year.
