Recession be damned: Desert Bus For Hope collected $132,608.94 for the Child’s Play charity over the long holiday weekend.
Beginning on November 20, the crew from comedy troupe LoadingReadyRun played a non-stop marathon of the tedious “Desert Bus” mini-game from the unreleased Sega CD game Penn & Teller’s Smoke and Mirrors. So long as donors kept the the coins coming, LoadingReadyRun kept playing. Hot on the heels of the trailer for the Prince of Persia film, Ubisoft has announced that the next Prince of Persia game will be available in May 2010.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will abandon the new storyline from last year’s series reboot and go back to the world of Sands of Time, the games on which the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer movie is based.

EA Sports’ Fight Night Round 4 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 is getting a new DLC pack ‘Rivalries’ this week. The pack will contain some new gameplay modes along with three new fighters, including Evander Holyfield and Bernard Hopkins. It will be available starting on December 3rd for unannounced price yet. On Thursday, the gorgeous, lush and incredibly hard arcade shoot-em-up Mushihime-sama Futari will be released for the Xbox 360.
The bad news is that it’s only coming out in Japan. The good news is that the game is region-free.
