God of War III will feature gameplay similar to that of previous version. The new installment of God of War series takes place right after the events of God of War II, with Kratos upon Gaia’s back eager to exact vengeance on the gods and make them suffer. Chicago might have blown the Olympics, but Los Angeles will host the Grand Final of the World Cyber Games in 2010, the competitive gaming organization said Friday.

Nintendo has officially announced that the larger version of DSi will hit Japan on November 21st. Dubbed as the Nintendo DSi LL, this new portable offers a larger 4.2-inch screen and comes bundled with two touch pens along with three DSiWare titles pre-installed. Coming in three different colors: dark brown, burgundy and natural white, the DSi LL will be sold for 20,000 Yen (about $220). [Kotaku]

Nintendo said Thursday that it would release a new model of its DSi portable game platform with larger screens and built-in software.
